DR.Omar Joya, is an economist with nearly ten years of experience in working with international institutions, the Afghan government, and academia. His latest employments include working for the World Bank as a Country Economist for Afghanistan, in Kabul and in Washington, D.C., for more than five years, and teaching at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) as an Assistant Professor of Economics. He also worked for the Central Bank of Afghanistan (DAB) and the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA).
